Refund Policy

How refund, duplicate-charge, activation, delivery, and defective-software requests are handled for Dokuntag® Publish purchases processed through Paddle.

Last updated: July 2026

This page explains the principal terms and policies applicable to the Dokuntag® Publish service.

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of Dokuntag® Publish products processed through Paddle.

It should be read together with the applicable checkout disclosures, Paddle buyer terms, the Dokuntag® Publish Terms of Service, and mandatory consumer-protection law.

2. Paddle as Merchant of Record

Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for transactions processed through Paddle. Paddle processes the payment, maintains the relevant transaction record, and provides buyer order support within its service.

Refund approval and processing may therefore require confirmation through Paddle and may be subject to Paddle's applicable buyer procedures.

3. How to request a refund

A buyer may submit a refund request through Paddle's buyer or Order Support process. You may also contact Dokuntag® Publish support for assistance with license delivery, activation, technical troubleshooting, or identifying the relevant order.

Include the email address used for the purchase, the order or transaction reference where available, the reason for the request, and a clear description of any technical problem. Do not publish a complete license key in a public message or screenshot.

4. Requests that may qualify for review

  • The software is materially defective and the problem cannot be resolved after reasonable troubleshooting.
  • The purchased product materially differs from the description presented at the time of sale.
  • The license was not delivered or cannot be activated after reasonable verification and troubleshooting.
  • A duplicate charge occurred.
  • The buyer reports an unauthorized charge and the transaction can be appropriately investigated.
  • A refund or cancellation right is required by applicable consumer law.

5. Digital delivery and cancellation rights

Dokuntag® Publish is digital software that may be delivered, downloaded, licensed, or activated shortly after purchase.

Downloading, activating, or beginning performance of digital content may affect a statutory cancellation or withdrawal right in some countries, particularly where the buyer expressly requested immediate performance and acknowledged the relevant consequence.

Any mandatory right available under applicable local law remains unaffected.

6. Abuse and non-qualifying requests

Where legally permitted, a request may be declined if there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, license sharing, resale, repeated policy circumvention, unauthorized distribution, deliberate misuse, or an attempt to retain access after receiving a refund.

A change of mind, failure to review clearly presented system requirements, dissatisfaction caused solely by a third-party platform decision, or use outside the product's stated purpose may not by itself establish eligibility, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

7. License deactivation after refund

When a purchase is refunded, reversed, or charged back, the related license may be revoked or deactivated and the right to continue using the paid software may end.

The buyer should uninstall or stop using the refunded licensed product unless applicable law or a written agreement provides otherwise.

8. Processing and payment method

Approved refunds are generally returned through the original payment method where possible. Actual processing time may depend on Paddle, the payment network, the buyer's bank, and the payment method.

Dokuntag® Publish cannot guarantee the exact date on which a bank or payment provider will display an approved refund.

9. Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in this policy removes, replaces, or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded, including rights relating to products that are defective, materially not as described, or not fit for a legally required purpose.

Where this policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer-protection rule applicable to the buyer, the mandatory rule prevails.

10. Policy changes

This policy may be updated when the product, payment arrangements, Paddle processes, or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will be published on this page.

A change will not retroactively remove a mandatory right that applied to a completed transaction.
