Cookies & Technical Storage

The cookies, browser storage, analytics, and checkout technologies currently used by the Dokuntag® Publish website.

Last updated: October 2026

This page explains the principal terms and policies applicable to the Dokuntag® Publish service.

1. Scope

This page describes the website technologies currently configured by Dokuntag® Publish at publish.dokuntag.com. Third-party checkout services may apply their own privacy and storage practices when you open them.

Dokuntag® Publish does not currently configure advertising or marketing trackers on the website.

2. Language preference cookie

  • Name: dokuntag_locale.
  • Type: first-party functional cookie.
  • Purpose: remembers the language you explicitly choose so the site can prefer English or Turkish on later visits.
  • Value: en or tr.
  • Duration: up to 1 year from the most recent language choice.
  • Technical setting: SameSite=Lax; available across the site.

3. Interface preference in local storage

  • Name: dokuntag-publish-shell-mode.
  • Type: browser localStorage; it is not a cookie.
  • Purpose: remembers the pinned desktop navigation display preference.
  • Value: collapsed or expanded.
  • Duration: remains in the browser until you unpin the preference, clear site data, or the browser removes it.

4. Vercel Web Analytics

Dokuntag® Publish uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate website usage and performance. Vercel documents Web Analytics as cookie-free.

Dokuntag® Publish custom analytics events use operational labels such as locale, page location, app identifier, platform, file format, guide identifier, or share channel. The site is not designed to send names, email addresses, license keys, payment details, or support-message contents in these analytics events.

5. Paddle checkout

When you choose to open a paid checkout, the checkout experience is provided by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record for transactions processed through Paddle.

Paddle may use cookies or similar technologies required for its checkout, payment, security, fraud-prevention, and buyer-support environment. Paddle controls those technologies under its own current notices and settings.

6. Your browser controls

You can remove the Dokuntag® Publish language cookie and localStorage preference through your browser's site-data controls. Removing them resets the related preference but does not prevent you from browsing the public website.

Blocking or clearing third-party checkout storage may affect payment or fraud-prevention functions supplied by the checkout provider.

7. Future changes

If Dokuntag® Publish introduces a non-essential cookie, advertising technology, or similar storage that requires consent under applicable law, the relevant notice and choice mechanism will be provided before that technology is used where required.

This page will be updated when the website's material cookie, storage, analytics, or checkout configuration changes.
