1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Dokuntag® Publish website, desktop application licensing services, downloads, checkout integration, support communications, and related online services.

It does not replace the separate privacy notices of Paddle, hosting providers, analytics providers, marketplaces, or other third-party services.

2. Information we may process

• Contact information such as your name and email address when supplied during a purchase or support request.
• License records, activation status, license type, activation dates, and device-slot information.
• Limited application or device identifiers used to activate licenses, enforce device limits, protect security, and prevent abuse.
• Transaction references, product information, purchase status, currency, and other limited order data received from Paddle.
• Support messages and files or diagnostic details that you voluntarily provide.
• Technical website and server logs, such as timestamps, requested pages, browser information, IP-derived security signals, and error records.
• Language preference, interface preference, and aggregate website analytics information as described in the Cookies & Technical Storage page.

3. Payment-card information

Full payment-card details are processed by Paddle or its payment providers and are not stored by Dokuntag® Publish.

Dokuntag® Publish may receive limited transaction and fulfillment information needed to issue a license, confirm an order, provide support, prevent fraud, or meet legal obligations.

4. Why information is used

• To deliver purchased licenses and related product information.
• To activate licenses and manage active-device limits.
• To perform periodic license validation.
• To operate, secure, maintain, diagnose, and improve the service.
• To answer support, payment, licensing, privacy, and product questions.
• To prevent fraud, license abuse, unauthorized access, and technical attacks.
• To maintain transaction, accounting, security, and compliance records where required.
• To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

5. Legal bases

Depending on your location and the circumstances, processing may be based on performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, or consent where consent is required.

The applicable legal basis may differ according to the type of information, the service used, and local law.

6. Paddle and service providers

Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for transactions processed through Paddle and independently processes buyer and payment information under its own notices and legal obligations.

Dokuntag® Publish currently uses Vercel for hosting, deployment, and Web Analytics; Resend for support email; Supabase for commerce and licensing infrastructure; and Paddle for checkout and transaction processing where those services are enabled. Each provider processes information according to the relevant service configuration and its own contractual and legal obligations.

7. International data transfers

Some of the service providers used by Dokuntag® Publish operate internationally. Depending on the service and configuration, personal data may be processed outside your country, including outside Türkiye.

Cross-border transfers are subject to applicable data-protection requirements and provider-specific contractual, organizational, and technical arrangements. Relevant provider notices may contain additional information about processing locations and transfer mechanisms.

8. Data retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including license operation, support, security, dispute handling, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Different categories of information may have different retention periods. Information may be deleted, anonymized, or securely archived when it is no longer required, subject to legal retention obligations.

9. Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or loss.

No website, application, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of certain personal data.

You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.

A request may require reasonable identity verification. Some information may need to be retained where required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal claims, or transaction records.

11. Cookies, analytics, and technical storage

The website currently uses the first-party dokuntag_locale cookie when you choose a language and the dokuntag-publish-shell-mode localStorage key when you pin a desktop navigation preference.

Vercel Web Analytics is active to understand aggregate website usage and performance. Vercel documents Web Analytics as cookie-free. Dokuntag® Publish custom analytics events use operational labels and are not designed to include names, email addresses, license keys, payment details, or support-message contents.

A current inventory, purpose, and duration description is published on the Cookies & Technical Storage page. Where applicable law requires consent for a future non-essential cookie or similar technology, the relevant choice mechanism will be provided before that technology is used where required.

12. Children

Dokuntag® Publish is intended for business, professional, creator, and seller workflows and is not directed to children.

We do not knowingly request children to purchase the software or independently submit personal data through the service.

13. Policy updates

This policy may be updated when the service, providers, technology, or legal requirements change. The latest version and update date will be published on this page.

Where required by law, additional notice or consent will be provided for material changes.
