Privacy at a glance

• Core records stay on the device by default; no DOKUNTAG account is required.
• There are no ads, and personal records are not sold.
• Camera/photo access and OCR are used only when you start Quick Capture; images are not uploaded to DOKUNTAG servers.
• Purchases are processed by Google Play or the App Store; DOKUNTAG does not receive full card details.
• You can delete records in the app, and backup/export happens only when you initiate it.

1. Scope and developer

This Privacy Policy covers DOKUNTAG SUB, provided by DOKUNTAG®. The Google Play package ID is com.dokuntag.app. Privacy contact: support@dokuntag.com.

2. Data-handling summary

DOKUNTAG SUB is local-first. No account is required for core use. Subscription, payment, special-day, task/on-call/shift, saved-for-later, app-preference, and similar core user records are stored on the device by default. DOKUNTAG does not upload these core records to a central user database.

3. Data stored on your device

Subscription and payment records, special days, tasks/on-call duties/shifts, saved-for-later links, app preferences, completed items, archive information, and protected records may be stored locally on your device. Local notification schedules for some records are also handled by the device notification system.

4. Camera, photos, and on-device OCR

When you start Quick Capture, the app may access the camera, photo library, or an image you intentionally share with the app. The selected image and OCR text extracted from it are processed on the device to help you create a record. The app does not upload those images or OCR output to DOKUNTAG servers. If you choose to export or share a file, the destination service you select may process it under its own privacy terms.

5. Account, advertising, and tracking

DOKUNTAG SUB does not require an account for core use. The app does not display advertising, does not create advertising profiles, and does not use a third-party advertising SDK to track user behavior for advertising.

6. Store purchases

Pro purchases and purchase restoration may be handled by Google Play or the App Store, depending on your platform. DOKUNTAG does not receive or store your payment-card number or full payment details. The app may use limited transaction or product information provided by the store to verify purchase or entitlement status.

7. Notifications

The app uses the device's local notification system for records that you create. Notification preferences, schedules, and permissions are managed on your device.

8. Backup and export

Supported JSON, PDF, Excel, or other export/backup files are created only when you request them. You choose where to save them or which app/service to share them with.

9. Content added through sharing

On supported platforms, links or content that you send to DOKUNTAG SUB through the system share menu may be processed on the device to create a record in the app.

10. Third-party services

Google Play, the App Store, and storage, sharing, browser, or other external services that you choose may process data under their own terms and privacy policies. DOKUNTAG does not control those independent third-party data practices.

11. Sale and sharing of data

DOKUNTAG does not sell personal records stored in DOKUNTAG SUB. Core app records are not uploaded to DOKUNTAG servers. Content that you intentionally export, share, or open in a third-party service is subject to the data practices of the destination you choose.

12. Data retention and deletion

DOKUNTAG does not operate a central cloud database for core app records. Local records may remain on the device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the app. You can delete individual records or delete all local data from within the app. If Android/iOS system backup is enabled, some data may be retained or restored by the platform according to your device and platform settings.

13. Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect local data and app functionality. App-password/local protection features may be used for protected records. No device, software, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.

14. Children

DOKUNTAG SUB is a general productivity and personal-record management app. It is not designed to knowingly collect personal data from children.

15. Changes

This policy may be updated if the app's data practices, features, or legal requirements change. The update date is shown on this page.
